Specifications

The phpBeans specifications describe the complete means of connecting ordinary PHP scripts (or any other language) to a remote object server for nearly-completely transparent remote method invocation (RMI).

The specifications cover the protocol used between the client and the server, the client application programming interface (API), as well as the server API for the areas of object reflection, persistent object storage, user authentication/security, and logging/reporting.
